I know this thread was meandered somewhat on topics, but this accessorising your classic has endless opportunities, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276109677...Bk9SR-zdsLDqYg Not sure if buying a classic caravan would make fessing up to buying the 145 easier, or worse….. 😀😀👍 Think all those weekend car events she could travel to and enjoy camping in a field😀 Cheers Steve |

Don't forget to take the missus too or she'll class herself as a "classic widow"!

Don’t do it, it is exactly that a romantic idea. We have a Swift Basecamp 4, much better and less stuff to worry about. Going away in a classic is enough to possibly have things go wrong, you don’t also need a 50 year old caravan. Restoring a caravan is a lot lot more work than you would expect and more money as well.

Cheers chaps,
Noon is the allotted hour, unsure if I'm scared or excited, probably a bit of both😀 I will take some photos of the grotty bits to start a rebuild thread, although I dare say I will have many many questions and problems to solve very soon. Can't be that bad can it.........I keep telling myself that the likes of Burdekin and Juular are able to sort virtually any bodywork, then how hard can it be?? Yes I know, very hard if you don't know what you're doing. Practice practice to follow, but that's the fun part isn't it????? Cheers Steve |
