Thinking about what to do. The car is MY23 so I could look to re-order and it would be MY24 and may not have the issue. Would I really miss the two features? Or, do I look at something else like the Genesis GV70 Electrified

Email received yesterday to say the car has been produced. However, the delivery date is still showing July, so no idea what is going on.

I phoned Volvo Care on Wednesday to cancel the existing order (MY23) and re-order MY24 as there are currently no shortages for the new MY. Unfortunately, the sales team had left for the day. Further call yesterday and was informed I can cancel right up to the point of handover at the dealership.

More calls next week to find out if the built car has been brought forward, in which case is it still missing BLIS and Cross-Traffic Alert.

I have now canceled MY23 and re-ordered MY24. The current waiting time is 6 to 7 months. Fingers crossed that by the time they come to build it they have found some chips

Still no update.
Customer Services still have no idea.

Supposedly the dealer received an email on Friday saying car was due in 48hrs… which meant yesterday, but as yet, still no car at the dealers.

I'm afraid it's bad news for us waiting for MY24. The order book is currently closed and no confirmation of when our vehicles will go into production.

Not sure what to do at this stage.
