Does seem to be a very honest description - something often lacking in listings these days!

Well been watching this one, just finished and 28 bids up to £4225 but not met reserve…..

For a motor the vendor admits has dodgy filler in it, the reserve must have been very high for what it is, or I may just have to revise my expectations😀

I think it is the vendor who has to revise their expectations.

Whilst that example does look period correct and unmolested - close inspection would reveal the body to need some extensive work. Rust is weeping through the paint and white hides all the imperfections so they don't show in photographs. It will be very rough in person and close up and will require a full body restoration. By the time the restoration work has been done that will be a very expensive car.

Mmmm, as I’m already under heavy fire for having an old dead 940 on the drive from t’other half, the mere thought of adding to it makes one quiver 😀😀

On the other hand it does look rather fetching, now could I swap it to my daily 940……. Expect it will fetch a few ££.
