I saw that VWW in Oakley Vale Morrison’s car park the other day. The owner had parked in one of the disabled bays but didn’t have a blue badge.

With respect though Andrew, the historic vehicle premium is the whole point. The Barge was a 4 grand motorcar all day long until it qualified as an historic vehicle, then it became worth 6 grand overnight.

The VWW may well make 6 grand or so (it is a nice car for a VWW); if it was an historic vehicle but otherwise the same it would be worth £9,000.

That is just the market, nothing to do with my opinion.

I'd agree, that looks like a really nice motor car. Overall I'd say it is more or less the same at GAM - a little better here, a little worse there... as 60 year old motor cars tend to be. My feeling is that GAM is a 7 grand motorcar (not that it is for sale: when I die I want to go to my cremation in GAM, in a wicker casket strapped to the roof) and I think this one is about the same pricewise.

Perhaps an Essex/Kent/Surrey chap that needs to drive into the city sometimes will buy it to exploit the ULEZ loophole for historic vehicles?

"3-7 from 4-5 - Ray, they're selling my cars!"

Let's hope it's a "Professional" sale...............

I wonder if George (aka "Morris") Cowley approved of the disposal of CI5 assets?

Indeed Dave,

One careful owner/driver 😀😀😀😀. Probably has a few scuffs from cardboard box encounters.

If those are the "Real McCoy" i'm sure there are collectors/fans prepared to pay that and don't forget of course, the Blue Oval Tax has to be paid as well.
