Adam could you perhaps enlighten us to who makes/produces your hybrid 19T and what internal components it contains? Also how does it differ from say a stock 19T.

Regards

Iain

Our own turbo specialist makes our hybrids, who's details I won't disclose. Besides, the turbos so far have been unique one-offs, ie application specific. In order to protect our designs, technical details will not be disclosed.

So you are advertising a product for sale but will not disclose any information about it?

How can you expect anyone to buy one with no technical details? Including it's make up or who produces it?

Hmmmmm Glad I bought a TT Turbo who are open with thier claims and information regarding thier Products.

Quote "In order to protect our designs, technical details will not be disclosed."

Who do you need to protect your product from surely not from TT.....

Maybe you should reconsider and answer the question. I'm sure I'm not the only person intested in finding out more about your so called 19T hybrid.

Regards

Iain

For those that are interested in information on turbos, have a look at this link on our website (it's specific to the 700/900 series, never the less I'm sure that many people will find it an interesting source of information) :-)

They are not off the shelf items. It's not something that you can buy from us and fit yourself. Any hybrid turbos that we do are one-offs that are application specific, and are only used when a customer's requirements do not meet the criteria which allows us to use off the shelf turbos.

And it's not just 19T hybrids either! I just used this as an example.

Adam,

You claim to have produced a so called Hybrid 19T, but are unwilling to disclose any information about said product.

Perhaps I could bring you attention to:

"If a member of a commercial organisation has made a claim in a post about a product or service that they provide and that claim is further questioned by others, then that organisation representative must reply fully and to the satisfaction of all who seek the information."

This is a direct quote from the "Policy on posts by commercial organisations" (Aug 14th 2005)

I feel that I'm further questioning your product and following forum rules would like a full and satisfing answer to my question.

So take the so called 19T hybrid that you use as an example:

Whats the technical spec and internal makeup of the so called Hybrid?

Or perhaps yet again you will avoid giving a direct answer to the Question. Which will once again put you in breach of forum rules.

Regards

Iain

Well, I'll just have to be in breach of the forum rules on this one. Perhaps I could ask if Don could supply interested parties the details of the ignition, fueling, and boost maps of his T5 software, so as not to breach forum rules.

So you are unwilling to reply to a question put to you/chiptuning ltd.

And why bring Don into this I'm not asking him the question I'm asking YOU!

All I have asked is for some technical details, this information is freely posted on this forum by TT for all to see.

Quote made by Dan from TT "In fact, to get technical, the diameter of a Td04hl wheel is 56mm with a 43.4mm inducer, whereas the T28 wheel is 60mm diameter and has a 46.4mm inducer. Therefore the T28 is 14% larger"

Dan here states the dimensions of TT commpressor wheel with no problems at all.

Another Quote "Our hybrid also comes with a substantially larger turbine side, designed by us for the Volvo, not a standard T28 housing"

TT have been both helpful and informative with the information they have supplied.

So if TT don't seem to have a problem.

So why do you?

Regards

Iain

I'm always willing to answer questions. However in this case I will not be disclosing technical details.

>And why bring Don into this I'm not asking him the question
>I'm asking YOU!

For the purpose of analogy. The are things that companies are fully entitled not to disclose.

Adam.
