Question 940 Turbo randomly stalls and wont turn on

After purchase the car worked fine for a few weeks then it started to stall randomly (usually rolling at slow speeds with no throttle).
I have already changed the fuel pump relay, radio suppression relay and cleaned the distributor.
After these changes I found out the car starts by turning it off, unplugging the MAF and plugging it back in. I have already cleaned the MAF and the issue continues.
After trying the car with the MAF unplugged to see if it would still stall (it wouldn't), the Lambda light on the dash is stuck on even after plugging it back in and I am unable to reset the error codes. Error code: 1-2-1

Should I just get a new MAF or does someone have a clue what could be wrong??

Edit: Read through the service book again and noticed the MAF has been changed 28k km ago.
