I drive to Nottingham at least once a week so it does get a good run, but the mpg doesn't really seem to be any higher than 30-32.

Of a full tank until the light comes on I get 350-400 miles.
thats surprising. We get 42mpg out of the manual V50 D5 with a fair amount
of spirited driving

highest i've managed was 48mpg last year on a run from Ijmuiden docks to Creglingen in Germany (Yes autobahns .......)

I don't know what I'm doing wrong then. I would like high 30's to be honest, it's been serviced at the right time, I'll mention it to volvo when it's in for a recall on Friday see what they say.

I find it hard to believe that Volvo actually don't put this on as standard.
The left hand stalk on the steering wheel has all the options for it, but all i can turn on and off there is traction control

The R Design is a basic spec car albeit with a nice body kit.

Let me get this right, the R design models never came with trip computer?
Mpg is still the same, just stays on 20.5 mpg. On the long rung mpg went up to 37.5mpg doing 70-80 mph.
