I fitted the switching box behind the sat nav dvd uinit and ran the wires down that side (port) under the trim. I just used some velcro to attach the switch box and cable ties to dress the wires up. There is room in the centre console for a few things like the regulator and RF tx for the headphones. David |

Hello Bestgear,
My name is Marcel and I am from the Netherlands and I have a Volvo V70. I am a member of the Dutch Volvo forum. I have read the topic about the rearview camera. In my V70 I have also a video break in box from Volvotech. Can you provide me details about the seller of your rearview camera? I need also a camera with pal 50. It is difficult to find. I can not send you a PM, as a have no 30 postings. Thank you in advance, Marcel (Turbodesk) |

As you say, a PAL 50 camera is not such an easy find. If you track down "factorykiss" on ebay, mail them, and confirm what you want. You will probably not find that they have the camera you need listed, but if you ask them for what you need, they will get it for you. David

Many other sellers let me down - they dont seem to know the difference between PAL 50 and 60. David

They did supply me with one - mine was bought as per item number 220651172712.
The still list that camera on the item number above and still quote PAL as an option. Perhaps they no longer have them.... David

First off, thanks for the excellent article/inspiration to BestGear.
I have just completed a reversing camera installation and if anyone is interested I found the number camera from a UK supplier in Luton going by the name of "TT Tints", web site below. http://www.ttints.co.uk/store/cms-di...mpanyinfo.html I found them through E-bay but dealt direct, the camera is PAL 50 and CCD although their advert showed CMOS. I called technical support and confirmed the specs. The camera delivered was part number MT9V136 which is 170 degrees and has guidlines. Other thing to say was during the strip to fit I was massively impressed with the construction/strenght of the car ..... off to drive through a mountain next week |

How to do wiring for the rear camera?
Hi David,
Thanks for your thread. I bought the camera from ebay long ago but don't know how to wire it. Can you make some photo and point out where and how you put though cables? Thanks Leo |
