No-one said they were speeding and you don't need to speed to show the map, you will just notice the complete difference from the standard car compared to sitting in the mapped car.

Hope you both get something out of tomorrow. I would love to come along and meet you pair but unfortunately I'm at the Bike Show.
Cheers Craig, I was thinking the same thing, you'll feel the response in throttle without any speeding. I've always wanted to get it mapped as going from 200hp to 136 was a big loss but can’t say that it feels that bad as it makes up for it with torque but somehow it does feel it could do with some more when pressing on sometimes when the mood takes me.

Secondly, where is the new showroom picture of your new alloys. :-)
My HEICO was off eBay. I was shocked when I won it as I asked the question on here about fitting a D5 back box to the original system and others were saying about Focus ST boxes and things like this and then out of the blue someone posted on the same thread about this system on eBay..... I expected it to go for silly money of snapped up for the buy it now price of £400. I slapped a bid down on it at the starting bid price of £300 with a max of £350 and I was the one and only bidder on the item even after it being posted on here. To say the least I was shocked and so pleased when I found I won it for £300!!

I’ve cleaned the car and the weather has been shocking to get any decent pics yet but will try and get some up soon... I'll go start a thread now in the show room of what it was like when I got it to what it is now and then the new wheels.

Craig, that's a shame! Would have been good to have a little meet!
Maybe another weekend

Needless to say I'm convinced that a remap is the way to go

it makes such a difference just having a map. the general drivability is greatly improved and then when you want to boot it.. holy sh** does it go.

i have noticed that before if i was being good around town id get 38.8mpg, now i can do 42.6 with a boot full every now and again (averages taken over 100 miles of town driving)

Which forum is this? There aren't many people on this forum who want to talk about tuning volvos. This is the first thread i have read about what the 2.0d will achieve.

People will talk about it, but why have lots of threads when there is one where people can discuss it all.

What do you want to know or get advice on?
