forgive and forget. it will be easier on you.

"Sincere forgiveness isn't coloured with expectations that the other person apologise or change. Don't worry whether or not they finally understand you. Life feeds back truth to people in its own way and time." Sara Paddison - she's a bit of a hippy, but hey!

I would suggest that a 12-16% variation from the target is not reproducing the figures closely. It is closer than most people are getting with the XC60, but not close

I don't think that you could ever reproduce the same conditions in the real world as there are to many variables, tyre pressure, temperature, car load, road surface, etc, not to mention congestion and other cars.

Apologies for moving the thread away from the vitriol that has been present within it and back to more mundane subjects

Hi Darbs

Thank you for the quote.Im impressed.

Very true.A great quote by a great writer. - Do you have an interest in Sara Paddison?

Yes forgiveness is a great thing in order that one may move on , living in the present free from burden, especially when the one that forgives has the realisation that the other persons hurtful actions are but due to that persons own inner issues.

But hey Corneille says to the contrary forgiving only invites offense...!!!

Ive got an idea - why not have a thread about:
Cinna ,The Roman Empire , and the way The Romans destroyed Classical Latin…. .lol….oops perhaps I had better not mention Latin!!!..lol

Regards

I was taught that Latin was the language spoken in Latium, the area around the Tiber in which Rome was founded and that the Romans destroyed the Etruscan langauge rather than they destroyed Latin, being as Latin was their native langauge.

Perhaps it is similar to estuarial English destroying recieved English, but then received Englsh destroyed Victorian English, which destoyed ... ad infinitum

The origins and bastardisation of English would also make an interesting thread

VR,

You may remember that a few months ago when you complained about dealerships lack interest in selling you a car, I sent a few messages to you on this forum offering my services (none of which were taken up by yourself). I have since Volvo, but I am intrigued how your purchase experience was?
