Good to hear .
You had run the system without the thermostat and still had pressure than its tempting to rule it out . |

Yeah it was weird that happened. I did think the worst if I'm honest after that little test. Never mind you live and learn! Just this bloody boost to sort out now and I'm motoring again at last!

Hello everyone
Is there anyone who could shed some light on my Volvo s40 2002 diesel problem. It was overheating (right to top of red!) even though the engine was stone cold only driven 1/4 mile on a freezing day too. Released pressure from valve on pipe to radiator, was under a lot of pressure, continued to do this for several months as it kept overheating. Water in header tank empties very quickly and fan kicks ins. No visual signs of leakage, but the water must be going somewhere!! Car runs very well otherwise. Help please !! Chelleyjaydee |
