well would you Adam and Eve it i have just fitted new discs and pads because the handbrake was crap this would have been a cheaper fix.i must learn to read all posts in this section

I wish I head read this post before tackling my rear brake assembly. managed to break a retaining spring and also have the uneven handbrake engagement. I'll buy the adjusters and that will be it. Except for my worrying turbo and suspension, which I will research next.

These parts are standard on the 850 and the Ph1 V70 so should be easily available from any Volvo scrap yard

they trade online but I think you can contact them by phone as well.

Im confused, when you click on that part it says it is 178mm?
Are these only for the xc90? As the ones on my v70 measure less than 100mm.
Or am I being thick again lol

These were the ones they said fitted the V70 & XC70 when I contacted them.

don't know were the 178mm is coming from.

just measured one :-

overall measurement closed 76mm fully open 92mm
measurement from bottom of slot to bottom of slot closed 54mm fully open 70mm

Hoping to get a chance to fit them next week so will report back on what I find.
