So, I'm also interested in this kit and I want to try to do the work by myself, but at the moment I have no time. Are you going to do by yourself or by mechanic? |

I've fittted one of these. No time to write this up now, but you'll need a manometer. Something that works in low pressures. A plumbers manometer would be good. A standard mechanics vacuum gauge may not do what you'll want. At idle you want 1.4-1.5Bar.

Yes, going to attempt this myself, I am a mechanic. I have a spare unit which I plan to recondition. Wasn't aware there was pressures etc to set / adjust, I thought it would be a simple case of strip / clean / re-assemble? It's leaking gas through the small vacuum pipe as I'm guessing a diaphragm has split.

Yes, you'll need to set up the output. Else you'd be wasting your time. Not difficult, but your usual vacuum gauge may not be up to it. Not sensitive enough. Mimic the pressures on the working one if I were you. Although thinkin about ti, I'm sure I got my kit from either a Dutch outfit on Ebay or the same Polish oen you see. So got a mini-manaul. If he wants to sell a dozen O rings and a few washers costing £2 for £40.00. I can't beleive all his cusotemrs are professionals, so I would not think he'll be good at keeping secrets for how to install.

I'm not a mechanic, so I think to finish only the "chemical" maintainance of distributor. Thanks to CNG for the info regarding the pressure values. |
