crap. Oh well, here's a fresh one. 740GLE Estate, Bexhill on Sea £795
https://m.facebook.com/marketplace/i.../?locale=en_GB
Unusual to see a runner for under a grand.
Shows how insanely overpriced 240s are, that would have another zero on it were it a 2-series.

Actually I quite like that, and it isn’t far away. I wish I could think of a reason to buy it

...other than having space on your driveway and too much Porsche money burning a hole..?
Would make a summer festival campervan extraordinaire.

145 custom, in the USA unfortunately.
Itsa bitza, but a good solution to that rusted out tailgate:

It's kind of hideous, but a technically excellent bumper delete and grafting on a 7/9 series bootlid couldn't have helped.

Someone over here tried to do that years ago(may have been imported from UK), they were refused a PSV cert for it. So that put paid to their plans.
I've since seen it used as part of a mobile valeting service in a supermarket car park.

BB your mention of a 145 got me excited, till I then saw USA 🙁 looks as though its had a shed load of money spent on bodywork.

Frenching in of the rear lights must have taken ages......

Cheers
