Yep, exactly that. I've got one, the missus has the other, both linked to our profiles and seat positions. To be fair, the old car had this option too and we could have done the same thing years ago but just decided not to, and had one key in use and the other as a spare sitting in a drawer never being used unless the battery ran down on the first one.

This time around, particularly with the increased options that can be assigned to a profile, I thought we'd just use both from the beginning and it seems like a good decision.

Thanks! Going to do that then...just have to work out (again) how to set the profiles or RTFM!

The 22's are finally on, so I've done some pics. Put them into a separate thread, here: http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...43#post2281943

However, my key is usually in my suit jacket pocket which is hung on the hook BEHIND the driver's seat. The car starts every time without a problem.

Agreed. When I test drove the XC90 in January, the key was in my trouser or coat pocket most of the time.

Yep, it will also start happily if the key is in a bag in the boot.

Took deliveryof a bright silver XC90 T5 5-seater Momentum today.
First impressions:
Nice ride, no excessive road noise with 19" Contisportcontacts without Contisilent, with air suspension.
The shinny interior parts are a dust magnets, the Sensus screen a fingerprint magnet :-)
VOC configuration at the dealers didn't work, no VOC for the moment.
I think I have read this happening but I can't remember where.
The car was connected to Vida, no errors, but still no +VOC
