Both my Kuga and Renault Clio have auto wipers that are permanently set to auto in the first wiper stalk position, there's no need to reactivate each time the ignition is on. The first car I had with auto wipers was a Golf back in 2000 I think and that needed reactivating, I thought every manufacturer had moved on with this, clearly not... might be a tad frustrating to reactivate each time now I'm used to not doing, maybe I should have saved the 160 quid lol.

This is not something I want, too many damaged blades in winter when they are frozen.

A speed limiter would be useful, and the mute for the Audio.

Agreed.

As for audio mute, the power button on the centre stack functions as mute on Sensus. Is the pre-Sensus system different in this respect?

Well I guess it functions the same on mine, in that it switches it off

Heh! In that case they've changed stuff. The MY11.5 handbook has this to say:
Short press starts the system and long press switches off. Briefly press to mute the sound (MUTE) or restore the sound if it had been switched off.
Not only does it mute the sound, but it will also pause playback of MP3/CD tracks while muted.

There must be a fine line between switching off and muting the sound and I am not seeing the difference

As far as I can see they both have exactly the same effect - switch off and the CD/MP3 player stops and no sound , mute it and the CD/MP3 player pauses with no sound - seems like the same to me

The difference is that the display remains switched on when muted, with a message and icon to indicate the fact.

On the sensus models, switching OFF switches the entire system off, including the bluetooth and navigation systems. Not such a fine line after all.
