200 Series General Forum for the Volvo 240 and 260 cars

Information
  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

WOAH! daamn! thats a REALY mint car you've got there! btw, whats that plastic thing that youve got on your headlights?

The plastic thing you mention are on both headlights , they are for european driving . As UK headlights dip to the left when using these in France for example , they dont dazzle motorists as i would be driving on the right . Hope this makes sence to you !

Ah yeah, i know, they mentioned this during my theoreticle lessons.. but thought i had dreamt it up :P btw how is it with styling your cars in England? tinting the windows, getting a little wing on the back etc, I don't mean adding body-kits etc, but a small original styling can do so much for a 240!!

Here's my daily driver... best car I've ever owned.

222,200 miles and still going strong. 5 speed and fun to drive. I've had it for 16 years.

Stig those alloys on the swedish one are Polaris ones or maybe replica polaris not sure which without a close up of them, just got a set for my 940 from a scrappy, very lucky find, and all for £80
