I've had issues with many traders in many arenas, however in every case, those of repute, who care about their work and business will go over and above every single time to rectify issues, even if not strictly their issues, but ensure it's working/fitted correctly - and will never moan about it, but smile, explain, and ensure you are happy. It may cost them an extra hours work, but their personal pride and professionalism ensures it's done correctly - and at no cost. but as they know well, that extra hour will be repaid ten times over with personal recommendations to others to use their services...

There is no arguement against the facts presented in the case hence the settlement out of court and gagging order, which by all accounts Russ himself has not abided by, and the hired some brief to draft a letter threatening legal action which has no basis in law since one wasn't even referenced to, to attempt to intimidate those who would speak out against shoddy workmanship or warn others against the aforementioned workmanship.

In Fairness Ben, Russ has damaged himself much more than any of the posters can ever do.By taking the legal action step he's fecked up big time.I very often referred customers toward him and even considered a trip from Brum to RT for work but.......now I doubt it.

This isnt the first thread Ive seen on this topicn and doubt it will be the last. Russ you are obviously watching this, so why dont you grow a backbone and answer your critics.

The more you sit back and do nothing, then the worse it will get for you. Looking at youre posts, you are only here for yourself and to plug your car / business.

Grow a pair mate and defend the work that your business does, otherwise the more it continues, then the more bad publicity your business will get. All you need to do is google RT Mechanics!
