Reading lights - Page 4

I have ordered my LED side lights and fingers crossed they arrive before the weekend so I can get them fitted asap. I think I will order the 4 smd on one side to fit the awkward foot well lamps. I would love to do the 4 over the driver, but it looks like the bulbs and the twist lock holders are a combined piece so I need to get 4 of them. Any ideas where they can be sourced?!

The bulbs should pull out of the holders and are the same T10 wedge type as far as i am aware!

Yeah they look like they're the same as the ones in the rear, the bulbs didn't seem to want to budge. I'll give them another go and see how I get on

Hadrian offered to send me some bulb holders so maybe they don't come out? Mine were festoon so didn't need them, maybe he will send you some if you PM him? Alternatively, Have you searched ebay for bulb holders?

Just checked my manual, bulb & holder in your model is one unit. You will need some holders!

I thought as much, I've had a quick look online for some but not had any luck so far, will try again tho. How many posts do you need to have done to be able to send a pm?

I think it is 30 but you can always ask admin to allow you to

I've just put led's in my side lights but it looks a bit odd as they are like super white, where as my dipped and main are a bit yellowy although they are night breakers! Just wondered if these are legal and if so, how effective are they http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2X-H7-120-...item46025d9d93
