Hi Michael,
yes there is a wiring loom specific to your car as regards a plug i'm not sure on that as i havent sold one for a while i know that everything is in the kit to fit it. there are two types a 7 pin for just towing a trailer or a 13 pin which would require what volvo call a 'y' lead to connect a carvan if you let me know which u would require i will find out for asap as i'm in the middle of setting my own firm up dealing in volvo.

Please quote prices for both genuine Volvo & pattern parts (but state the make).
My S40 (2litre) is dated May,1998, which I believe was a "changeover" year for certain parts. So I'll quote the Vin No. to make sure of the correct parts <snip>

i have the prices for you the pads retail at £36.60 i can do them for £17.00
and the discs retail at £28.20 each and i can do them for £16 each there for genuine parts the non gen were no different in price . i can have them here for the next day and posted out to you the same day for £6.50. at the moment i dont have a credit card facilty but i do have pay pal if that would be ok?

I have priced both types 7 pin is £38.93 and the 13 pin is £58.00 plus the dreaded i can get them next day for you and the instrucitons etc are in the kit.

Thanks Paul yes i shall be getting a website up and running soon i shall at some point be even selling volvos and servicing them once things get moving
