Willie you need to establish if power is going into the stalk if not then we have a problem if there is power going in then bridge a wire across the connections and it will show whether there is a break in the wiring to wiper . would still check the wiper to see if its working it just definately eliminates one more thing.
If there is no break in wiring and by bridging the connector at stalk the wiper works then post up and I will send a replacement stalk FOC . |

SOrry Jim have not got aroumd to this as yet had to go to the mainland and buy a freelander ! hopefully will get a chance tomorrow.

Ok Jim finally managed to get back to the volvo. Anyway I did the testing of the power to the stock as best I could and here are the results. on the main plug into the stock with the ignition on I can only get a light on (bulb holder and wires) on the two diagionally opposite plugs top to bottom if my memory serves me right its a blue and white wire and a red and white wire. The current situation with either my original wiper stock connected or the one I got from you is as follows: rear wash wipe works inttermittent and constant rear wipe works front washer works but no action from any of the front wiper blades.
