Personally I'd go for under the bonnet near the lights. So long as the connections are waterproof it shouldn't cause problems to the existing circuits.

You could go for the fusebox/CEM but without detailed diagrams I think finding the required wires would be a long job and the chances of messing something up if you get the wrong wire are greater.

If you need a permanent live for your buzzer box, the radio is always a good place to look.

Anyone in the east mids area managed to get a good price to turn off dipped beam at dealer or indy? So far I've got two quotes of £85 and £63, it's a tad on the expensive side for me just to turn off some lights. I'm waiting to hear back from a few more places but I've run out of local options after these...

Although it's still a bit of a rip off that's cheap compared to some quotes I've heard. Sure I recall folk being quoted up to £180 by dealers just to do that software download and update.

Simple to install buzzer, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BUZZER-DC-...item1c44f936c6

conect between the live feed to the headlamps / sidelights and the ground of the courtesy light switch on the drivers door, you forget you have your sidelights on, open the drivers door, the ground makes contact and the buzzer sounds....
