If you would still like me to get in touch, please can you let me know here, and confirm that you sent your mobile number?

I'm approaching 30 posts, so will be able to email myself soon!

Cheers,
Andy
Hi Andy,
Yes that was my phone number that was emailed to you yesterday, if you'd have got back to me I could have been down today and picked up the car but it seems 3 minutes after you asked me to get back to you, you'd offered it to someone else??? The option is still available as I can still pick up the car in the next couple of days but I'd now be standing on somebody else's toes... and as I know he wants it for his Mrs then I have to give him first option.

Hi there,

Thanks very much for your message.

The plan is still for STRBRYAN to come down at the weekend, but I promise to post here if anything changes for any reason.

Good luck with the MOT!

Cheers,
Andy

Thanks for the heads up Joe but it needs to be a T5 engine.I have already soured a replacement engine at a cost of £700 but that's without any ancillary.

I don't think Sam will be pleased to hear that her b'day present requires assembly LOL.

Are you bringing it to the grantham meet on Sunday to assemble it??? Don't think we've done anything like an engine swap in the car park before? (swapping engines between car boots doesn't count!)

Now that I'd like to see!

This is exactly why I came to this forum. The thought of doing something like that scares the heck out of me, but I guess it's easy (or easier!) when you know how.

It's great to know the car'll be in good hands.

Cheers,
Andy

You would be amazed at what can be fixed in a pub car park.

Why not have a gander at www.t5d5.org if you are interested in the performance volvo's.

Thanks acshortt5.

I'd love to see what's possible, so I'll definitely have a look.

Cheers,
