I am not going to buy a new oxygen sensor from Ebay but had a look to see what the prices where doing.
The details i have from my Oxygen sensor are: 9470983 0 258 007 038 981051 020 D When i check on ebay with the Bosch number it is coming back with all sorts of Volvo V70's but not my type Was the wrong sensor fitted? Euro carparts unfortunately is not showing any Bosch numbers to compare it with. Don't know if anybody knows if this is the correct item? Or do i need to check with Volvo or Bosch ? |

That first link was very useful Chris.
It is the correct part that is currently on the car and a replacement is on it's way now Hopefully this will sort the problem out. |

Not going very well in getting the part.
I got hold of a second hand one via 1st choice but they broke the part when getting it of the car. The called and left emails with Bosch, Unipart and eurocarparts but they say they don't have this part and need to speak to Volvo for 240+ (ouch) . I now ordered one via EBay,i didn't want to go this way but if not genuine i still can send it back. Just in case where else can i buy genuine Bosch parts ? |

New oxygen sensor fitted this afternoon and had a test run of about 50 miles.
Up till now no problems , no codes, idle steady at 900 rpm and average MPG going up towards the 25 MPG instead of 12 MPG Hopefully it is fixed. |

The joy was short lived with the new oxygen sensor fitted.
Check engine light came back up again . Code showing is P1132 Also no data coming back from the first oxygen sensor. Car is still running normal and not hunting .
