woud you recommend useing 2 stroke on a 940 diesel 200000 miles now . i have been using millers diesel clean for years now but its expensive even when I'm buying 5 litres at a time , but my mix is 60 litres to 60 millilitres of millers.
2 stroke will be cheaper and if its ok

Out of interest, what ratio do you add it? I used to put 500ml to a full tank on the v70
Thats roughly what i put in

Get yourself a small pop bottle and use that for the 2 stroke.
330ml bottle in when you fill up and the ratio is just about right.

I don't do it every fill as I figure as there's still some diesel and 2 stroke in the tank if I add 300ml more then the ratio of 2 stroke to diesel will start to increase over time.
Of course I could just put half the bottle in, but I'm lazy and it's easier just to dose it every 2nd fill

I'll concur on the DPF bit, I've noticed I don't get the message anymore. Can't say I've seen any of the other reported benefits, smoother running etc, but it certainly doesn't seem to hurt

I put a bottle of this in my V50 D5:

Was going to get some millers but they didn't have any.

Has it made any difference? Not that I know of!!

Seems to run a *little* better.

You're a braver man than I am putting two stroke oil in a euro 4 compliant dpf equipped car...
