Hi. On some xc90 rear bumpers there is a silver piece, very similar to the front skid plate you have advertised. Do you have one of these? Also, you mentioned the head unit was sold, but you have it for sale on Ebay? Is it available? Thanks.

Unfortunately the bumper doesn't have the plate. The head unit was sold, but the guy who bought it didn't take it to Volvo to have it fitted (believe they have to do something with the security software according to threads I have read on here, which I told him before he bought it!). He lied to me and told me that Volvo had done it, but his mechanic had phoned me the day before to ask me how to get it out the dashboard, and he wasn't a Volvo mechanic! Despite my better judgement I gave him a refund. You would think he would cover his tracks better if he wasn't going to tell the truth! Hence the rather contorted note on Ebay about refunds. I am happy to help anyone as much as I can, but this has made me worried about being messed about.
Rant over, and I feel better!
So the stereo is available, and guaranteed it was 100% working when removed. For forum members I will happily do a good deal outside of Ebay, but on things that have to be coded by a dealer I will only accept returns if the dealer confirms to me the part is faulty. I have no desire to sell faulty parts. For parts that don't need to be coded, but are known problem parts that may be damaged by posting (instrument panel etc), I will guarantee if the buyer comes to my house, and I will help them install it. If it works, we do the deal, if it doesn't nothing ventured, nothing lost! I do test all parts before selling them if I can.
