Talk about a storm in a tea cup, some people really do need to get a grip here, its a internet forum people, if someone says something you dont like or agree with smile and move on, how seemingly intelligent people can become mired in this sort of morass beggers belief, agreed chow says it as it is, and he can be rather direct, if not a touch abrasive but so what? a lot of what he does say is rather funny and to the point, the forum indeed would be a duller ( albeit quieter place!) without him, my twopenneth worth, feel free to flame !

I think it's probably best if I start with the 5 minute one and then see how it goes from there.

I prefer closed/locked threads closely monitored over what happened last year any day.

I've never seen so many Kenneth Williams and Quentin Crisp pics!

I think we are going to find on any internet based forum or chatroom that certain characters get behind their keyboards safe in the knowledge that people can neither see nor touch them so they adopt an alter ego more commonly known as "Internet Rambo", these characters can be both amusing and sometimes annoying, but this is a virtual world, we can click away from said Rambo, or put the power button in, or have a chuckle and leave a witty reply. Its not real life, don't bite there's no point.

Ok, I'll feel free to flame...

It's real life when you've had no car 11 days, live in the middle of nowhere, can't get to work, won't get paid, getting anywhere is v difficult, have been waiting in for nearly a week for delivery of a part you've paid for only to find it wasn't sent, so you post on here about this supplier so that others don't have this experience, only for some smart person to tell you it's your fault in a rude derogatory way when they haven't even read your post properly in the first place. I don't see them offering any help but only hinderance so please excuse me if I've been without hot drinks and basics for a few days and I tell it how it is back...

Oh dear, I've got it all wrong, I thought we were here to help and support each other with our breakdowns............... silly me

errr yes thats kinda the idea of a car owners forum !!!!! but yer realy need a chill pill , some just cant help with a off the wall comment n it realy seams to get yer goin !!!! i must say sometimes i find chow s comments a little over the mark , but it is an internet forum so people have diffrent ways of puttin stuff , but i do feel it would be sad if he didnt now comment , same as if you didnt contribute on here after all its what helps build a forum !!!!
think we should all try a little harder not to say stuff which some may take offence to n maby try not to bite if a comment is made that just over steps the mark
