Easiest to use a torx driver, if you have them.

I think, something like a T25, or T30 is what I used.

got it off at last lol. Took only a minute after reading what you lot said haha. Used a T27 Gary :P right in the middle lol, push on the airbag. Push up on the torx, remove hand from airbag and it's sitting in my hand

Spend ages on the car today. Very tired now. Removed all the seats, removed the rear covers for the boot and pulled all the carpets out. Found an odd metal box behind the sub wondering what the hell it was before my brain clicked.....it was a amplifier lol However the wiring in the red car doesn't have the right plug for it. Therefore all that's coming out and getting swapped over!

Now I've got that airbag off I can get the steering wheel off and finish removing the dash, Then the interior wiring loom is coming out. Then all I have left to remove is the A/C system from the red car to get the remaining engine loom out the car.

Ugh so might still to do lol.

Oh and Gary will be pleased. Where all the carpets came out I've just given them a top to bottom hovering and later on the carpet washer is coming out to give them.

I was close, Matt.

It was about two and a half years ago, that I changed mine over, so in between wasn't too bad.

I gave mine a quick hand polish today and also gave the calipers a scrub with a toothbrush.

Also bought a neat storage bag for the boot, attached with velcro strips on the underside and the rear.

341 mile round trip today from Scarborough to Melton Mowbray to Leeds to Driffield and back to Scarborough.

Who says you need an eco diesel to get good mpg. Not a bad average for a T4 with 134k on the clock.

And this is how you stack a full Saab 9-5 interior into a V40 including seats, full set of carpets, centre console, boot carpets & floor, along with every single bit of interior trim....as well as an electric guitar and a complete BMX (dismantled).....yes Im a warrior at Tetris, yes it all fitted and yes I drove it 200 miles home like that.
