Spotted 240s

Saw a E reg white 240 estate today coming out of Asda's side road onto the high Street at Kings Heath, Birmingham

About a week ago I saw a K reg, red 240 estate in a side road running parallel to the Bearwood Road (High Street) in Bearwood, Birmingham.

I certainly am!! Thank goodness for an automatic I wish I could find my camera, in packing somewhere
At least I'm moving too rural Staffordshire in a few weeks

White 240 estate on a K-plate making its way out of the Bar Hill Tesco car park. Looked very tidy - as far as I could see in the dark.

Spotted a crash damaged 240 Torslanda in red at the U-PULL-IT YORK scrapyard site today, although it was over in the CO-PART compound so itll probably either go through there or head straight to the crusher without being scavenged for parts

One spotted in Cornwall. Late this afternoon in Tuckingmill heading towards Camborne, a 240 estate, reg. number D912 GFD.I think it was silver and looked quite tidy in the fading light!

I drove my 240se estate from 30 miles north of Lairg, Sutherland all the way to Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, staying in the Cheshire and Staffordshire areas. Did around 1,100miles in a week. Both me and the wife kept a look out for 240's.......not a single one to be seen anywhere! Mine got a few glances on the M74, M6 and when it was parked up in Newcastle town centre. One young lad even said it looked cool! I took it in to National tyres as it had a leak in the front tyre. The mechanic/tyre fitter was very impressed with its condition.

Just remembered, I spotted a red 240 estate parked on the 5 Boroughs Partnership education centre car park in Warrington about a week ago.

Not seen it before parked there.

Anyone here.

Looked quite tidy.

I was in the V70 but I often go there in my 240.

There are a few in Cornwall but still not seen any very often. I was waiting in Asda car park. St.Austell the other day and a man came up to admire the car and to say that they had one. His wife uses it mostly, apparently, because he had started finding it difficult to park as he'd got older, so they had their smaller car that day. Sometimes there's a red one seen travelling between Bodmin and Fowey, and a Torslanda in Mevagissey.

We've travelled often between Shropshire/Staffordshire and Cornwall, and seen very few 240s. There was one parked in a driveway at Loggerheads, it seemed well cared-for, and there was the one we parked beside at Stokesay Castle a while back, pictured somewhere on this thread.
