May try one as it states no extra exhaust soot. & that is one of my pet hates with this type of thing. I think my intercooler is split but with none of the usual signs apart from some oil on the tray below (not the engine tray) do you know if this will be the nail in the coffin as I could do with getting past christmas without having to replace it (hasn't changed for the last 5 months).

If your intercooler really was split, I think you would have known about it big time after 5 months. It's not just a loose jubillee clip round one of the intercooler hoses is it?

Thanks for looking out, Some top people on here. I noticed that earlier & it's me with the highest bid. Not sure how much to go to as I have it in the back of my head that the real reason they are getting rid is that it caused a problem of some kind.
