I looked at S4 Avants before getting the beemer but didn't like the S-Tronic gearbox stories so thought I'd go for a manual, until I realised it's £330 a year for the S-Tronic and £575 (or whatever the top band for VED is) for the manual!

TBH when I saw this car is up in Scotland I feared for the underside of it, and looking at its service book it's been a Scottish car it's entire life. My C30 was a Scottish car for at least it's first 3 years and it showed on the underside. Had a friend wirebrush and waxoyl for me
