Thats great you can take them off and hopefully the tires, but not sure what a fair price is. Like i said its a fair trek up and they do need a refurb. How does £75 sound?

Yes please!! That's great. Are the plastic clips in tack at the back of it. Mine had all broken and been glued rather badly so it is all a bit of a mess.

Dear c70t5beater, if you go on ebay will find another set of 17" comets down in wales (also need refurbing) he is asking £250+ £30 post!! my father inlaw runs a taxi buisiness in Buckie so is in Aberdeen regularly to the airport,(as you have a cousin there) delivery is more or less free?? but to ask me to remove all 4 wheels then take them to a tyre place to have them stripped (which i assume i would have to pay for) then give me £75, if it was someone asking you to do this would you???? think not my friend, don't mind helping out fellow forum member but there is such a thing as taking the p*ss!!!

FWIW last year I paid £200ish (can't recall exactly) for 4x 7.5J comets (with tyres) that were not too bad although needed a refurb.

If I could buy sets of 4 Volvo alloys at £75 a time I'd be making a living doing it and selling them on

My mistake, earlier i said the comets were in Wales! they are actually in Southsea!!! down in the deep south!!!!
