RE: D`s 440 more priase from someone how been there
Called today to veiw the volvo 440
all that purple thingy said was correct i would have had it but its auto.. (memo to self read all the bl@@y ad in future) this car has an original tape player bluespot. I wanted a manuel car. a good wash polish and compound a big service a bit of fuel additive would be good as she has only done 33,500 miles and good bash up the motorway. then spend the rest of the year driving it. Thanks for coming to see it, shame it didn't suit! But thanks also for posting a review 'hutch'.
Going to widen my advertising I think! (when I have time that is...) But did want it to go to a volvo lover! |

However, if you do advertise elsewhere, be aware that, to most people, it is 'just' another old 'banger' at best. You may minimise this risk and reach a wider audience of enthusiasts / preservationists, if you advertise on one of the web sites specialising in classic cars rather than those of a more general nature. Whatever you choose to do, I do hope that your car finds the good home that it so obviously deserves. Kind regards, John.

It's still here! I'm also in the middle of moving home, so have been completely flat out on other things and haven't been able to do anything else with Volvo yet (except to continue to drive it!) - not even post it on other sites yet! But thanks for the tip John.Wigley any thoughts on which sites I should try? Naughty, if youre interested do get in touch!

Hello again,'diana123'. My personal favourite is 'Car and Classic (www.carandclassic.co.uk), but I'm sure any of the other specialist sites would be as good. C&C is free and very user friendly in my experience.
Regards, John.
