Hi,
I am also trying to retro fit front fog lights to v40 2.0T (Year 1997) and appear to have the same problem that there is only one wiring connector coming from the loom where as the ECU fog lamp relay (part No-30852028) requires two.
Did you find any conclusion to this problem? ie is that second wiring connector there somewhere or is it that unfortunately there are some models of v40 that cannot be upgraded to have front fog lights?
I would appreciate any more information on the issue.

Still no luck, i have the 2 fog lights, switch and the relay sat here. There is no second connector behind the dials, im stuck, there apears to be wiring behind the lamp blanking panels though! Would be great if there was a way to get round this!

There isn't wiring for a second relay because you just replace the existing relay with the proper one, as was mentioned already!

Not sure if you still have the problem, but to connect the front fog light ECU you need a additional wiring loom - see ebay advert number 361464903823

Paste the number into the ebay search box to find the advert.

Did the same job to my 1999 T4 V40 (came without front fog lights from the factory) no front fog wiring connector. Has anyone solved this problem?

However when i looked i couldn't see any for fog lights for s/v 40

From memory (its a long time ago) when we did our 1998 2.0 the kit came with everything needed. new switch, combined relay and so on but i don't remember needing new cables they were just tied up out of the way.
