  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Point of order - flushing the auto box won't cure the coolant problem...

The radiator has been changed and the cooling system flushed and reverse flushed quite a few times to purge any remaining traces of ATF from the cooling system.Is there any thing else that I need to do ?

After all that, is it still blowing sludge out the coolant bottle??

No the scum/sludge stopped coming up into the header tank after the radiator was changed.I flushed cooling system prior to fitting new rad.

It just seems to be taking allot of ATF gearbox flushes to get rid of all the emulisified AT oil.I have bought another 5 litres which I will use tommorrow which will bring the total used so far to over 30 litres.I expect it will probably need a further 5 :-(

Any further advise or ideas appreciated.
