sorry wasnt slating it. its just that im a gas engineer and it looks just like a cooker thermostat is all . i bet theres not much difference realy as they do the same job

Well, result!
Went ahead and installed a thermo fan and ditched the viscous unit. Kicks in at around 95/100, manual overide switch on the dash. OMG!! look at all that space........ Dave A.

I copy/paste the IMG link in from Photobucket. After adjusting and cropping I resize to between 700 and 1000 the longest side of the pic before adding it to my PB account.

Dunno where you read that but they were wrong, there's plenty of yanks that do the V8 conversion, a small block Ford V8 weighs less than a redblock.
