Hi..had a return call from main stealers..part did not arrive..Part number has been changed and so has the price..£130 plus the dreaded..two week delivery time..It does not help my situation so cancelled the order..you certainly know our motors are getting old when they get the book off the top shelf and blow the dust off it..(its a metaphor!!)..cheers hj.

HJ, guessing you'll be asking 940_turbo, but thought this would be worth posting.

Hi kenny..and welcome..my issue is a little more serious than just the switch..(which you can view blow by blow over the next few days!!)..Regarding your problem..i"m not very familiar with air con systems but i have come across strange behaviour with jeep motors and nearly always was the heater resistor that was at fault..good luck...hj.

Hi everyone!..well i managed to get the blower housing out of the car today but had to call it a day due to light and getting hammered with friends!!..I have not got time to put pictures up but believe when i tell you its not a straight forward affair..you can look at all the pictures and descriptions you like but when it comes to your turn the whole thing turns into a chinese puzzle!..did manage to split the motor matrix housing to see an entire forest in the radiator..and the bushings were definitely trashed on my old motor.Several segments of the comutator were salmon coloured..I think they are dead spots..Tomorrow i will clean everything.. fit new motor..rad reassemble and test..Then the fun starts fitting it all back into the car...For some reason my central locking has packed up?..could it be some of the earths i have disconnected at the moment..?.any pointers or tips would be welcome..as for instance i was not sure if the blower housing jumps over the main loom or does the limbo under it..I went for the later..and by the way have a great evening everyone and happy new year..will report back tomorrow..cheers hj.
