Victor,

I find your comments regarding "children" extremely offensive and take these as a personal insult, are you by any chance the person currently being sought in connection with the incident involving Mrs M, if so this would explain a lot. I take on board the comments of other members however my initial question regarding the number of new members attracted this year as opposed to other years has not been answered and I suspect it never will.

Kind regards

New members signing up at the desk this year was 15 (24 last year), but we will not know exactly how many sign up subsequently. They may use the membership application form we had on display, use the free magazine we had on display, or go online. They may sign up next week, next month, or whenever so at best we can only get a rough idea by searching the database if they showed how they found out about the club.

Hello MRS M Geostanni,

It is with great regret that I find myself entering into your self made dispute but to put things into prospective this year their was no Volvo funding and I belive the staff on the stand were jolly good people and very well informed in many types of volvo,s.
I can agree with some of the other members comments however you cannot expect the members of the club to show a P1800, Amozin etc every year as there are other far rarer and more expensive cars to choose from, well lets face it both the above cars can be bought from ebay for the price of a pint or there abouts.

Many Thanks

Tristen

I too was a bit disappointed with the VOC stand, it looked a bit bare. Over on the crowded Enthusiasts stand I had a nice chat with the owner of the lovely white PV convertible and with the chairperson of the club. They said that they were planning to have a blue Amazon there to go with the red and white PV's but had been let down at the last minute.

WTF !!? If someone has a comment to make fair enough but if they are so childish that they feel the urge to hide behind a fresh profile and post wind ups it's just plain sad. Grow up troll

It's a shame that (for whatever reason) there wasn't a 164, 264, 760, 960, S80 and either a new S80 or XC90 with the 3.2 SI6 in it. I appreciate that the older PV6xx series cars are unlikely to be common enough to find, but I know for a fact that amongst the club membership are owners of several examples of immaculate 6 cyl cars as listed above.

Victor,

I accept your appology however it is clear that some members could have offered assistance if required at this years stand.
As already stated I personnaly found this years show dissapointing and look forward to next year to see if lessons have been learned.
I have received my renewal form for this years VOC membership and will give this some serious consideration.

Kind regards

Giovanni

Arguing with yourself is the first sign of madness. Both Giovanni and charriot 760 post from the same ip address.

Edit

moonbuggy740 also registered from the same ip address.
