  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

i put this pipe on days ago, and it seemed to be ok. it idled fine no smoke and all seemed well, until today. i started car on drive, as it is not in daily use at present so just wanted to give it a run, and it immediatly started to idle erratic, almost like it was misfiring. when i drove it, it was fine, until i allow it to idle, then it hunts around and the car shakes. any ideas what is going on?

The hose should be white in appearance and can be seen in the picture below. The vacuum tree is located under the word "control" in the picture..

I guess you'd know the answer to this, Jod.

I removed the black plastic throttle cover to clean (before my dad got his hands on the car) and the white hose you highlighted in your post is also present in our na 2.5. Seeing as it doesn't have a turbo nor a vacuum gauge, is that normal?

I have never has a N/A 850 but i would expect it to be part of the EVAP system...Where does the other end go?...

I really don't know, Jod. I didn't go exploring since everything seemed to work. when I get a chance I'll take a look.
