on closer inspection, the car was a dog. he voluntarily knocked it down from 1000 to 800, but still walked away. spent the rest of the day looking at similar dogs and came home feeling quite deflated. looked on auto trader to see what we could go look at today and a micra 1.0 on a 02 plate with 60k miles, 2 owners, tax and test, clean and tidy, 4 recent new tyres, new radiator, popped up 20 mins away. advert had just gone on. checked it out, going to pick it up today. nice little car indeed. i know its my friends car, and its a micra, and im not buying it, but i still want to bring it home, clean it, polish it, waxoyl stuff and generally fiddle about with things.

One of my daughters is on her second Micra in 5 years and loves them. The first one eventually needed too much for an MOT so got scrapped, this is a little purple rocket with better spec.

Dont forget these little motors have fairly good reliability as do most Jap made cars. Dont knock them, pocket rockets.

they say micras are for people who cant drive....

my gf has one LOL

nah, shes been driving for 4 months and shes a fab driver

her micra is a little 1.0 S (s for small i think?)

it runs ok, not very good on steep hills, economical, few problems...the exhaust shield rattles and comes loose after being tightened...power steering comes on and off, the clutch is clunky and feels very...lacking in feel, and often dosent fully engage, even with new clutch plate. hers has had a new resistor pack fitted by yours truly.

its not a bad little car, but something about em makes me wanna shrink and hide when im in one

ps the speakers are actually very good, the stock headunit isnt...get an aftermarket HU, nothing special

you and your mate can go on pussy patrol in the micra now too
