Great news, let us know how it goes on a longer run?

900 is about right for tickover on these, so don't worry about that.

Well, I'm taking the old girl from Sheffield to Robin Hood's Bay and back next week, so that'll be a test. It's been running OK on the few local journeys I've made, but the lambda light is still on.

So far, I've had both O2 sensors replaced (with good quality ones, not generics) and replaced the vacuum hoses (most of them). So if the lambda light stays on, I guess the next thing will be cleaning the throttle valve and the MAF sensor, which I haven't done yet.

Best bet would be to read the codes, then clear them and see what comes back. Just guessing and shotgunning it with parts is expensive and time consuming.....

If you can't read the codes, post back as there are some fairly cheap solutions to this, and it's an invaluable tool to have.
