Hi Morgan,
Was a pleasure to meet you briefly last weekend. The wheels are in great condition as you said. However I have just put one of them on the car and they stand out too far for my liking so have taken them off again. It must be something to do with the offset as these were originally on an S60. So if anyone wants to buy these from me please make contact. I am only after recouping the money I outlaid so 4 off great condition wheels with good tyres only £400 Collection from Witney on Oxfordshire. Neil |

The offset for s/v40 is 44mm the Eudora are 40mm offset.
Tyres size can make a big difference for example. For the s/v40 +40 offset with 215/40/17 is flush with wheel arch. And +42 offset with 215/45/17 is flush with wheel arch. The Eudora are 235/40/18 tyres fitted which to my uneducated mind says they should fit flush? Nice wheels but the wrong offset for my 740 or 240 without expensive spacers. Regards Brian. |

Would you mind explaining a little further and point me in the general direction of where to find this info. The info I have found says the offset for the eudora is 49mm. On the standard wheels on my 2005 S40 with 205/50 17s they are about 15mm inside the wheel arch and the eudora where about 5mm outside the arch although it might look better if I fitted them all and then run the car around the block so it has settled on the suspension properly. Maybe I should try this before parting with them. Not sure what to do to be honest as that=y are lovely wheels. I just don't want to make it look like a boy racers car lol. |

Simple I went to the s/v40 section and searched for "s/v wheel offset" to get the standard offset for standard wheels.
And the Eudora wheels I googled them and found one or two American ebay sales some new with offset measurements which is where I got the details. Now I'm no expert on offsets but the tyre width can make quite a bit of difference. As you say cracking good wheels and expensive tyres a real shame to have to sell them on. I now wonder what the offset is supposed to be standard on morgans S80? Off to do a search. Regards Brian. |

These newer model cars are so much harder to find correct info on.
I eventually found a site that states the s/v60 offset is 42mm the same site states the s80 is 42mm.So I can only think that the extra size wheel coupled with wider tyres is why they are so close to your arches. The site suggests possible upgrades in tyre size. 235-45-17" 235-40-18" 235-35-19" So much conflicting info out there but I try to help. Regards Brian. |
