  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

How bad is the old one? If water tight & cooling the engine ok, I'd be tempted to just refit it in the meantime, given that you said its replacement doesn't seem to do a good job. My old one had dumped loads of fins, but still kept it all cool enough - it was only because of the leak that I decided to replace it.

It doesn't look great! A leak is sure to develope in the very near future!

Hi Adam,

I have a spare if you want it? £15 and I can add it to the other stuff I'm sending you. Not got a pic at the moment but it hasn't had much use by the looks but the fan has touched it so would need a little tlc. I'll pull it out tonight for a look at it and see if the fins will straighten easily if you like and can post a pic?

Yes please Mitch!

I've also ordered a new water pump from Brookhouse. Oh crikey - I can feintly remember cursing the thing up and down the road the last time I did that job.....

Hi Mitch dont suppose you have a spare rad cap(the round type) Andrews car has an expantion bottle fitted with a radiator cap we need the litte round cap for his radiator (looks like a cap with a rubber seal ) No spring inside it Cheers Andy ( sorry for hijacking the thread)
