Yes, that’s the kind of paint you need.
Try contacting this supplier, which is where I got my paint from. You might need to send them a sample for them to colour match- one of the interior door release trims would be suitable, as they’re small and easily removed. http://www.nwsr.co.uk/subcategories....KeyCategory=16 Cheers |

Alan:~
regarding the paint for plastic items: a plastic primer is available for such items, if not used the top coat is likely to lift. Paint factors are generally very helpful. Good luck. Regards Bob. I posted a how to strengthen the plastic door pockets some time back - aluminium angle section etc. |

Yup, plastic primer first, then whatever paint you think will match (acrylic, nitro, the primer stops the solvents melting the plastic)
Using a satin clear laquer coat over the top can help a lot. I've had very good results with Montana (gold) spray paints. Excellent range of colours (215) and sticks like nothing else: It's a graffiti paint, so better than car factor rubbish. https://www.montana-cans.com/en/spra...d-400ml-colors Last edited by BicycleBoy; Sep 22nd, 2022 at 19:02. |

Hi MooMoo, sorry I've been absent on the forums for a few weeks. DUG has been featured in the Volvo mag you say?

Oh yes, as I say, page 16!
I’ll send the mag if you want it.👍

I'd be interested to have a look. The only event I've been to is the classic car show at Seaton Carew so that's a surprise. I'll drop you a PM.
