Hello

On my V70 there is a spring clip holding the bulb in place, hiding behind a "lid" that unscrews. No sign of torx screws at all!

there are 2 types fitted to the 850, the H1 and H4, but BOTH simply are held in with a spring clip. You will need to remove the plastic cover from the rear and in there will be the clip

Yup removed the plastic cover found the rear of the bulb but no clip just a alloy plate with two torx screws holding it and the bulb by the looks in place?

Both sides are the same and it looks OE ?

If you've replaced your bulbs and you still find the light dull/yellow then I suggest you check the alloy reflector inside the lamp and or clean the inside of the glass. I had yellowing bulbs after fitting some +50% [not from halfords] the lamps are far brighter. Going back to yours not sure if you can remove the lens like you can on the 200/700 series by gently removing some clips around the glass
