No one ever stated location of manufacturer in relation to quality though which is what you yourself brought up.

Neither was this thread in relation to anything, but specifically wiper blades.

It is highly likely though that in regards to quality the more expensive blade is likely to have a greater amount of supple rubber in it to aid in longevity and overall quality as has been many peoples experience of Volvo wiper blades that are not overly expensive stay supple for a long time and are well worth the cost.

I think you'll find that references to "monkeys" in "a jungle" is a direct inference to manufacturer's origin.

Do you actually know that or are you just guessing?...because rubber becomes brittle at low temperatures and with age so is likely to tear: if anything, more rubber is not better. You'll also find that the proper premium wiper blades actually use silicone LOL.

Oh.....they are: never mind.
Where did I make a reference to Bosch wiper blades, And what difference has Bosch blades being made in China go to do the subject?

Wrong again..At no time have I stated that the low budget blades are "unfit for purpose".

What are these blades you talk about as I must invest in a set, for them not to streak in minus figures is an absolute first in wiper blades and to prevent a car from falling apart is a well worth £0.50 investment..

Sort of contradicts your previous post.

Given your apparent disdain for anything made by "monkeys" in a "jungle" which I take at its face value as a racial slur & reference to anything produced in an economy where pure Arian workers don't do the assembly, I think it relevant to point out that one of the premium brands (with you seemingly holding the term 'premium' so dear) is not actually made in der Fatherland.

Not really, it just shows that my cheapy blades are (a) good enough and/or (b) don't use rubber LOL.

"racial slur" Behave yourself little man..How is referring to items made in a jungle clearance made by monkeys being racist?Would visiting Monkey world also be considered being racist??

You might also find that the type of blades you so highly recommend are more then likely made within the EU..Does this class yourself as a racist being you dont buy from China??

You seem to have a thing about the Bosch brand (which I have not mentioned) would you also have an issue with the German/Chinese collaboration?

But I for one would buy "premium products" over "low cost"products that has been made in a jungle clearance by monkeys..
I'm sure people can draw their own conclusions about your reference to "monkeys" in a "jungle"

Where did I say I didn't buy from China LOL??? As it happens I lived and worked there for over a year but don't let that stop you!

Anyhow, it's hardly worth starting WW3 over: if you like your expensive wipers then fine; I am equally happy with my supermarket items.......sheeesh, we're talking about wiper blades not super hi-tech cutting edge engineering.

OK I must be mistaken as to monkeys coming from jungles, would the fact I was also brought up in South Africa in the 70's also make me a racist?

Why don't you tell me?

Perhaps it's just an obtuse and ill advised choice of words.

Regardless, as I said, by all means continue to use your expensive wipers and I'll continue to buy supermarket items which I find perfectly good, whether they meet with your approval or not.
