Red face Power steering fluid

Hi Mike

Now done 60 + miles this weekend and no problems whatsoever !

Having had the egr / plenum cleaned (as the 1st action), car is running smoothly, less smoke.

But I am sure (as per the other post) it could be just the Power Steering fluid low!!!

I am going back to garage to get codes read and will post.

Got a journey from Exeter to Kent tomorrow (rescheduled from last week) so don't want any breakdowns!

Missus washed the interior yesterday and think some water must of got onto the electrics for the electric heated chair, which started to smoke and now no longer works !!! Hard to tell her off as she did put effort into cleaning...lol !

One thing after another!

Cheers

Smile Hose leak !!!

To give you both satisfaction (and me embarrassment) it turned out to be a clip on a hose not secured properly !!!

The garage only spotted it when replacing the fuel filter and someone revving the engine from above, then they heard the 'hissing'.

Apologies...

Will I be forgiven.....otherwise I might buy a Merc!
