Chris Knott is worth a try. I've spent all afternoon on the phone and internet for my insurance, and I've been getting quotes between £700 and £900. Chris Knott was nearly the lowest at £437 but Bell just beat them at £406.

Insurance quotes will always be different for everyone, you can only reassure yourself that you're not getting ripped off by getting as many quotes as possible.

Good luck!

ive just gone through this, renewal for my 940 just came back at
£697 through the RAC, wasnt going to pay that so i rings em up and asked how much to swap it back to my 240 (both cars 2.3) they come back
and say £411, so when i ask why its jumped £111 pound in a year on the 240
they say "sorry sir all premiums have gone up and YOU WILL NOT FIND IT ANY CHEAPER ANYWHERE ELSE" so i politely told them to ram it up their
rusty bullet hole and proceeded to look on the internet, 15 minutes later
i found cover for the 240, fully comp, european breakdown, windscreen,
courtesy car etc £123.56p suck that RAC.

cover is through sureterm if anybody is interested
