Oh well. It's me n the brood off to some far flung corner of the North East for some family day out type stuff then. Next time eh lads?
I was up in Newcastle last night as it happens, but travelling via Mondeo so as to enjoy the ludicrous bar prices in The Academy! A pint of Woodpecker plus a Snakebite (including "NO, not with blackcurrant luv! I never said SNAKEBITE n Black, coz I don't want Blackcurrant!", Jesus wept!). All for the princely sum of £8.50!!!!!!!!!!!!! FU*K n hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Felt like I'd been mugged!!!!!!!!! At least I was on the guest list!

sounds about right, the look on my mates face when he handed over a tenner for a double southern comfort and coke and was handed back his change was priceless!

Shall we write this meet off for now then? Could a mod de-sticky it and we'll come up with another date.
