Polestar upgrade - Page 3

I dropped into see Peter Suchy at Charlwood Volvo yesterday and he told me he has an S60 with the D5 euro 4 engine and he's chipped it to 256 bhp.

thats the Rica sport tune (i think), but alas its only suitable for manual cars. now thinking about getting rid of my T5 and getting a D5.....

He gives the impression it's awsome to drive with all that torque available.

548nm, nice. i wonder what its like to insure? As a few companies i spoke with when i got my XC90 done were okay up to 25% power increase, but didn't want to know if it went above 25%. they also only wanted to know BHP increase, and not the torque increase.

The 2011my here in sweden did not all get the 200hp engine - this was not the spec for all markets......mine had the 185 D5244T4 engine.....

To be honest, according to volvo here, the polestar upgrade has caused a noisy turbo though.....not sure if ican live with the extra noise!
